Behavior consults begin with in-depth history taking, followed by a thorough behavior evaluation a diagnosis is made. This generally takes about 2 hours. You will receive a full written report of the history taken, explanation of the diagnosis, a discussion of the prognosis, a realistic appraisal of how long it might take to resolve the problem behaviors and an understandable overview of the proposed behavior modification plan. If there is an agreement to proceed, a full and comprehensive treatment plan will be prepared and implemented with my coaching and supervision.
I am available to evaluate and treat all types of canine behavior problems including, but not limited to, aggression of all types, elimination problems, separation anxiety, destructive chewing, nuisance barking, on leash problems, phobias (thunderstorm, noise, objects), anxiety-based disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorders.
